More bad weather is expected this week with an increasing volume of flood warnings and with the terrible scenes from Cumbria, still fresh in our minds. The huge amount of snow could, as it melts, lead to flooding in many areas. Over 500,000 homes are currently at risk of flooding and the Environmental Agency is predicting that nearly 1 million homes plus countless businesses will be at risk of flooding over the next 10-20 years.
