When you want to sell your property whether its a house, flat, bungalow you must have a home information pack (HIP) completed and paid for before an Estate Agent can begin any form of marketing. Usually an Estate Agent will recommend a HIP provider to you and you must pay up front anything between £250 to £350 including vat. This has put many people off putting their property on the market in these diffcult financial times and we are now noticing a shortfall in new instructions.
